Everything a prospective member typically wants to understand before placing a deposit — how the price is possible, who issues the membership, what happens if a batch doesn't fill, and what ClubPass does in between.
01 — About the offer
Why is a holding deposit required first?
The arrangement only works because Tropicana allocates in batches. To hold a seat in the next batch, a deposit is placed up front — without it, the bulk allocation cannot be committed, and the rate would not exist. The deposit is fully refundable should the batch not be fulfilled or a membership not be allocated.
Why is this referrals-only?
ClubPass keeps the offer inside a known, referred circle rather than promote it publicly. That preserves both the pricing and the relationships behind it. New buyers come in through a referral from an existing or past member, a family connection, or a vetted introduction. Residents of Aetas Damansara and Lumi Tropicana are also welcomed directly, with further private terms reserved to those residences.
02 — About the memberships
What's the difference between Golf and Sports memberships?
The Golf Membership includes full access to the golf courses — all 27 championship holes, weekend tee booking, and the practice range and short-game area — along with everything in the Sports Membership. The Sports Membership gives full use of the clubhouse sports and recreational facilities — everything except the golf courses. Sports facilities include:
- Resort-style, larger-than-Olympic-size swimming pool, plus 2 play pools
- Hot & chilled pool
- 4 indoor badminton courts, plus a VIP badminton hall
- 4 indoor tennis courts
- 3 squash courts
- Pickleball courts
- Table tennis
- Multi-purpose hall
- Fully-equipped gymnasium
- Japanese bath, jacuzzi, sauna & steam room
Plus member rates on clubhouse dining outlets, recreational areas, and more. Both are Family memberships, covering principal, spouse, and lawful children.
How does the group rate work?
We know friends often want to enrol together — and enough buyers have asked about it that we extend a small courtesy on the per-pax rate for groups. Three or more memberships of the same type, purchased at the same time: Golf at RM50,400 per pax (from RM52,000); Sports at RM11,200 per pax (from RM12,000). Each membership covers one household — principal, spouse, and lawful children — and the group rate applies when three or more separate buyers enrol at the same time.
03 — Payment & allocation
What does the payment timeline look like?
A holding deposit is placed first — RM6,000 per pax for Golf (Family), RM3,000 per pax for Sports (Family). When the batch closes, the balance is requested, and the buyer has 14 days to make payment so the batch can proceed. Once paid, Tropicana's team issues the membership immediately.
What does the holding deposit secure?
Once the buyer places the holding deposit, their slot in the batch is reserved and held right through to allocation. The deposit is fully refundable if a membership is not allocated.
